Alston
Although I typically utilize antique clothing for my bears, I have been know to dress an occasional bear in a contemporary outfit. Once in a great while I'll spot something truly fun and special and just have to bring it home. You'll see Alston has such an outfit. He is the kind of Panda that goes against trends anyway as anyone can tell by his unique colors. He isn't a black and white Panda at all, but is an ivory and golden boy. And oh what fun! You'll truly enjoy seeing his fun ensemble.

It's not hard to tell that Alson is all boy! Rough and ready to tumble, he enjoys all things snips and snails and puppy dog tails. One look into those amazing eyes and you'll see he's an enthusiastic and eager-to-please fellow. But, with all that activity surrounding this Precious Panda, the truth is his favorite activity is hugging! He gets all soft and gooey and snuggles right in. His airbrushed Panda Patches really enhance those beautiful big eyes. And his hand-stitched and waxed nose is kissably shiny.
Cording surrounding Alston's beautiful eyes deepen his wonderful gaze and hand-painted highlights make them even more lovely. His deeply cupped ears are high set and outlined with airbrushed accents.
The outfit Alston wears is an all-cotton knit and corduroy ensemble with some of the most adorable extra touches I've seen. For starters, he has his very own little Panda peeking out of his jumper pocket. Now, how cute is that?! And on his sweater you'll find another adorable little Panda in the way of an embroidered patch. And check out those high-top tennis shoes! Yes, there's another sweet Panda face adorning his shoes as well.
To make it easier to keep tabs on such an active Panda boy, I added a little jingle bell to each of Alson's shoes. He won't be able to tippy toe around this way.
Another great piece in Alson's set is his silly cap, complete with their own Panda ears. Now, I must confess Alston wasn't very happy having to pose in his hat, but he complied. He may get used to it when it gets cold again, but I think he's going to resist for awhile and will use the excuse that it's spring and getting warm again. Just don't let him see you laughing.
When it does warm up, Alston can store his sweater and show off the beautiful cinnamon gold fur. Under his jumper he has true Panda sections with an ivory tummy and a cinnamon gold chest and limbs.
Alston is a large Panda boy measuring 19 inches in length. He features gently curved limbs with ivory Merino wool paw pads. Of course, he is fully and securely jointed. His jumper is lined with a wonderful jersey fabric in a colorful stripe. Just another extra special touch in this special outfit. Filled with polyfilling, Alston has extra weight from a pocket of bbs tucked inside his tummy.
