" Brenda "

A perfect little daily stitcher.
Brenda is one of my most faithful old friends.  She's done her sewing duty and is not a Featherweight who is afraid of hard work!  She's happy to pitch in and will tackle any stitching chore with a positive attitude and a wonderful stitch.  She knows her beauty is from within and minds not that she might have a nick here and a scuff here.  She wears those marks proudly as the reminders of her service.  As strong as they come, Brenda is still young and lively and can go the distance with the prettiest of Featherweights!

Bakelite Foot Pedal with bakelite plug.
  Copy of the Owner's Manual
  6 Bobbins
  Foot Hemmer
  Adjustable Hemmer

Her previous owner had a small piece of red tape on the top.  I don't know the reason for this and decided rather than mar the paint any further, I would leave her as she is.  It's only a touch of red that adds to Brenda's unique character!

You can see the breaks in Brenda's paint where I believe humidity or dampness got in.  It is merely cosmetic and doesn't affect her stitching ability at all.  A lot of her gold decals still are bright and shiny and remain intact.
Brenda's very best asset is the way she makes her stitches - so even and tight and pretty!
