" Julianna "
~ Singer Featherweight 221 Number AL697478 ~
April 22, 1954
Wanting to appeal to the modern woman, Singer introduced a new decal in the early 50's.  More Art Deco in style, the Prism design was a contemporary move away from the classic floral design giving the Featherweight a cleaner line.  One is not more desirable than another, and it's all a matter of preference.  The Art Deco design is a bit more rare as there were less of them made.  This Featherweight is in awesome condition and clean and bright and sleek.  She runs like a gazelle and has a good tight stitch.  All in all, a very strong and solid Featherweight up to any task.

Yes, you can make all sizes of bears in all the different fur thicknesses with your Featherweight!  Megan with her large size and amazingly thick and long fur can attest to that!
